Living Earth Photography Competition

Audience: SETU Students and Staff

Celebrating the launch of the SETU Sustainability Strategy, we’re excited to announce our ‘Living Earth’ student and staff photography competition, part of the Bealtaine Living Earth festival in association with Calmast.

This competition invites SETU students and staff to submit photographs linked to biodiversity, nature restoration, sustainable development, and theme festival theme “Living Earth.”

Whether you shoot on a professional camera or your phone, we want to see the world through your lens.

Theme: Through a Greener Lens

All entries must show a clear link to biodiversity, nature restoration, sustainable development, or sustainable action.

Participants may enter the following categories:

  1. Landscape and Nature
  2. Black and White: Fragile Earth
  3. In Action: Sustainable Living
  4. Portrait: Faces of Sustainability
  5. Nature based solutions
  6. Innovation and Engineering for Earth

A prize will be awarded in each category, plus one grand prize for the Best Overall Photograph.

Key Dates

  • Submission Opens: 1st May 2026
  • Submission Deadline: 27th May 2026
